Last Friday, 9th April 2021, we officially one of our new offices, our second office in Newcastle. Located inside of our current building at 710 Hunter Street, we now occupy both Suite 6 (downstairs) & 8 (upstairs).
Our new office, Suite 6, is located on the ground level of the building, and houses our designers, account managers, HR and executive teams. It was important for us as a team to recognise and celebrate this milestone as it symbolises the significant and continuous growth Mudbath has achieved over the past 12 months.
When Suite 6 in our current HQ building became available again at the end of 2020, it seemed only fair to re-occupy it to pay tribute to our company’s foundations. Mudbath’s staff numbers have doubled each year since our humble beginnings, and current velocity places growth on that same rate of expansion moving forward.
Local construction company Skelcon helped us out with the refurbishment, alongside Newcased based artist Tom Henderson, to not only align the interior between Suite 6 & 8, but to help us demonstrate our ongoing investment to provide incredible spaces and experiences that inspire our creativity so we can deliver incredible products for our clients. In true Mudbath style, our meeting room in the new office has a bar inside- don’t be scared to accept a 4pm meeting with us!
The recent pandemic brought on some seriously tough challenges for all businesses, which we definitely felt, but tackled head on and came out on top at the other side. Our new policies and procedures accommodate remote working which has helped us grow, now with staff located in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane & Darwin.
