Wes Fagan, formerly of Deloitte, R/GA, Coates Group and VHA, has joined the team at rapidly growing, digital product agency, Mudbath, as Chief Design Officer, in a move that will see the company ready to expand its global influence.
Originally from Ireland, Fagan relocated to Australia in 2009, taking up a senior design position at Vodafone Hutchison. Recruited into Deloitte, first as Experience Design Director for Customer, where he led projects for Australia’s biggest financial technology companies, and then Experience Design Director for Deloitte Inside, he was instrumental in working with key government clients to future-proof consultancy by streamlining and optimising processes with cutting-edge digital products.
At highly-awarded, New York headquartered agency, R/GA, Fagan again led experience design across a range of clients, and most notably delivered a diverse and expansive program of work for the team behind Australian invention, the Cochlear Implant, as well as experience design for Toyota, Telstra and Shiseido. Most recently, Fagan took on the role of Chief Experience Officer for software, hardware and research development company, Coates Group, facilitating research, analysis and design solutions for McDonalds, among other high-profile clients.
Born in Dublin, Fagan was exposed to a vast array of artistic expression from a young age, and after developing a passion for the space, formalised his education with studies in Human Computer Interaction, visual communications, brand and typography. Recently, winning two Good Design Awards in Australia and two Industrial Customer Experience Awards in the USA, he has delivered leading digital product design, complemented by consistent and powerful branding across a range of channels.
